Navratri is the very important festival of Hindu Religion. The worship of Goddess Durga goes for nine days during Navratri. The all nine incarnations of Goddess Durga is worshipped during the Navratri festival. At the beginning of the Navratri, the Kalash Sthapana is done. The Kalash is considered to be the incarnation of Lord Ganesha. As per Hindu mythology, Lord Ganesha is worshipped before starting anything new. How to Worship in Navratri? During the Navratri, Goddess Durga is worshipped. On the very first day of Navratri, the Kalash Sthapana Puja is done with proper Vidhi or specific process along with chanting of certain Mantras. Then for Nine days which are called Navratri, the devotees keep fasting and worship Goddess Durga. There is said to be the Shubh Muhurat and specific Mantras. As per Hindu Scriptures, the Vedic Remedies for Navratri have been prescribed and this Puja is very important.
Note: The Kalash used during the worship of Goddess Durga should be of either of the items such as Gold, Silver, Cooper, or Earthen. The iron or the Steel Kalash should not be used during the Navratri Days and Worship.
